Tega Cay, SC. is one of the youngest towns in the Carolinas. Incorporated in 1982, Tega Cay is very well known for its high quality of life. The town carries the motto “The Good Life”. Tega Cay means the “beautiful peninsula” which jets out on Lake Wylie. The population of the town is expected to double within the next seven years.

Rock Hill South Carolina

Rock Hill, SC

Though it prides itself on its small town feel, Rock Hill is the largest city in York County and the fifth largest in South Carolina. The city is named for a rocky knoll that railroad workers blasted through to grade a roadbed for tracks around 1852. The knoll was one of the highest points between Augusta, GA. and Charlotte. The city was incorporated in 1870.
